National Tree Day- Friends of Stony Creek

July 26, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Maribyrnong City Council, in partnership with the Friends of Stony Creek and funded by Melbourne Water Community Grant and Corridors of Green Grant, will be planting indigenous trees, shrubs, grasses and ground covers to help improve habitat for native fauna and make this section of the Stony Creek Shared Trail a pleasant place to be.

Directions: On the Stony Creek trail between Paramount Road and Cala Street in West Footscray Meet at the Paramount Road end park at Cala Street and walk west along the shared trail.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:Parking is limited at Paramount Road.

The following will be provided: Gloves, Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water, BBQ
