Planting to reinstate native grassland to increase biodiversity and beautify the local park

FreeThe key objective of the planting is to reinstate native grassland to increase biodiversity and beautify the local park. This is a chance for the local community to take part in a conservation project and learn about native flora and fauna.
Directions: The planting area is in the section of Halls Reserve next to Heidelberg Rd which bridges the Merri Creek. Marquees and a registration tent will be located in Halls Reserve, at the end of Spensley Street.

Notes about the day for Volunteers:
The Planting Area is located on the Main City Trail so council encourages cycling to the event. Please wear suitable winter weather apparel, hat and sturdy shoes.
The following will be provided: Gloves, Tools and equipment for planting, Watering cans / buckets, Drinking water, BBQ
