National Tree Day – Boeing Reserve Strathmore Heights

Moonee Valley City Council is hosting a National Tree Day activity at Boeing Reserve, Strathmore Heights.
This location is important as it not only provides valuable open space and recreation to the community but also forms part of a significant water catchment and habitat corridor.
We are aiming to improve corridor linkages to increase biodiversity and provide habitat.
This is your chance to get your hands dirty, enjoy the surrounding environment and help to make Moonee Valley a green and beautiful place to live.

Directions:
Parking is available at the end of Boeing Road, however spaces are limited and we encourage you to car pool or consider alternative transport modes for the day, such as a leisurely stroll or ride along the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail.
Follow signage to the site (30m from the carpark).

Please bring gloves and your trusting planting trowel (if you own one).
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
