Nearly 300 people turned out to launch the first park of the Greening the Pipeline initiative on Saturday 29 April. The new community park runs along a 100 metre section of the historic Main Outfall Sewer reserve in Williams Landing.
Community feedback received at the park launch, which featured a range of community and family activities, was highly positive and included a number of suggestions for further developments for the Greening the Pipeline initiative.
Suggestions are being sought from the community to name the first park of the Greening the Pipeline initiative (located between Triller Court and Mallard Close, Williams Landing).
Get creative and submit your ideas by 28 May 2017.
The winning name will be announced on the Greening the Pipeline website in June. Good luck!
